Dear Colleague, International Journal of Tropical Hydrobiology and Fisheries (IJTHF) is a peer-reviewed open access journal with highly qualified international editorial board and will be published quarterly by The NATURE CONSERVATION SOCIETY OF COASTAL BANGLADESH (NCSCB). IJTHF is dedicated to increasing and updating knowledge and disseminating the emerging ideas across disciplines with in the scope of the journal. IJTHF Call for Papers.
IJTHF seeks ongoing contributions in a broad range of formats, including research papers, reviews, let ter to the editor, book reviews and note which meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Contributions from young environmental and fisheries professionals are particularly encouraged.
IJTHF welcomes submission of papers related to hydrobiology and fisheries sciences in several topics including interactions of water, nutrient and pollutant cycles with biotic components of ecosystems, aquaculture, fisheries ecology, fisheries management, fisheries biology, pollution, aquatic ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity, numerical modeling of ecosystems, climate change ecology, and biodiversity and distribution. IJTHF especially encourages article on hydrobiology of tropical water, its dynamics, and functions to modeling of abiotic and biotic interactions in relation to their hydrological determinants at the basin scale. IJTHF is intended for the rapid publication through the IJTHF Editorial System (two weeks due limitation for 1st review) and aims to provide rapid peer review with papers receiving a first decision within an average three weeks. Call for Papers
The International Journal of Tropical Hydrobiology and Fisheries (IJTHF) is published four times per year by the NATURE CONSERVATION SOCIETY OF COASTAL BANGLADESH (NCSCB). Manuscripts written in English are accepted. The International Journal of Tropical Hydrobiology and Fisheries follows the Open Access Journal policy. All contents of the IJTHF are freely available in the IJTHF web.
Types of Contribution:
The International Journal of Tropical Hydrobiology and Fisheries (IJTHF) is one of the international journals in hydrobiology and fisheries science and publish articles in English in five formats:
Original research papers include original and previously unpublished research or development of a theory or technique that has resulted from a completed major study leading to a significant extension of knowledge. We encourage authors to prepare their results concise and keep the regular article within 4000 words.
Short reports of original researches can be accepted for publication. The manuscript sequence for a Short Communication is Title page (including a running head), Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Results and discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Figure legends.
Letter to the Editor:
Critical comments are welcomed for correcting errors of published facts and for providing alternative interpretations of published data. The sequence for a Letter to the Editor is Title page, Text, References, Names and Affiliations of authors. If needed, Tables and Figures can be included. The text is written without subdivision and without extra-spacing between paragraphs. A Letter to the Editor should not be longer than a printed page (around 800 words).
Invited or submitted review papers can be accepted. A Mini-Review is a short review on a specific topic, which is included in a regular issue of the journals. Manuscripts include a Title page (with a running head), Abstract and Keywords, Text, References, Tables, and Figures. The text is written in free style. We encourage authors to keep the review article within 5000 words.
Invited book reviews can be published. Manuscripts include a Title of the book reviewed, author(s) and editor(s) of the book, printer and publisher (city, state and country), total pages, ISBN number, followed by the Text and the Reviewer with affiliation. The text is written in free style.
A rapid communication is intended for the rapid publication of a timely and significant research. When submitting a communication, authors should explain why importance of rapid editorial processing is required via IJTHF e-mail system.
The International Journal of Tropical Hydrobiology and Fisheries (IJTHF) accept newly developed technique or simple survey and can be published in Note section.
